NGO & Development Programme Management
Programme officer, M&E officer, grants manager — I run the programme and satisfy the donor.
You work in an NGO, an association or a public programme and you are responsible for what the donor sees.
What you'll be able to do
- Build a logframe and a theory of change that hold together
- Define indicators that can actually be collected in the field
- Design a data collection form and run it on KoboToolbox
- Prepare a donor budget and a narrative and financial report that match
- Prepare for a grant audit and keep the supporting documents that will be asked for
How it's built
We use free open material from the ILO, UNICEF and Philanthropy University on monitoring and evaluation, the published logframe guidance of major donors, and free KoboToolbox training. We add the reconciliation between the narrative report and the financial report — the point where most small NGOs lose funding.
What you earn
- Free completion records from the open providers
- An LES Institute certificate covering an assessed logframe, indicator plan and donor report pack
Requirements
- Secondary school completion
- Working French or English, both is better
- A smartphone for field data work
